The Miter Shell print is a watercolour artwork inspired by the beautiful Miter shell or ‘Mitridae.’ Miters are found commonly in the tropical Indo-pacific region preferring sand, coral areas or stoney seafloors. I bought the shell from a fisherman on a remote island in Fiji and was inspired by its beautiful colouring and intricate pattern that had to capture it in watercolour.
