The ‘Blue Swimmer Crab’ is a watercolour artwork inspired by the uniquely beautiful crabs found on the coast of South Australia. Growing up by the ocean I would often come to the local jetty and catch blue swimmer crabs when the weather was just right. Sometimes, if the tide was far enough out, we could walk along the sand and scoop them up. These memories are ones I will always treasure. This crab with it’s deep sea blues will bring a piece of the ocean into your space as lovely Hamptons style decor.
